It was a tale of two halves for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today in their 32-31 loss to the New York Giants. Shurmur praised Jones during his postgame press conference. There were a couple of times when we took a couple sacks, the fumbles, some of that loose stuff, we can work on that, there's drills for that. "I've heard a lot of stuff about rookies in their first game and how it doesn't turn out too well". Barkley said after Sunday's game that he had the same injury while playing at Penn State and believes he will be fine, though the team probably is not going to risk having him play hurt.

"We're extremely excited in him and extremely confident what he can do for us as a team. But those first three things give him a chance to move forward".

Jones scored on a 7-yard run in the second quarter and put the Giants ahead with another 7-yarder on fourth-and-goal.

When Jameis Winston hit Mike Evans for a 44-yard pass to the Giants' 9-yard line with 30 seconds left in Sunday's game against the New York Giants - it seemed as if the Bucs were going to win the game easily. "We found a way to win, found a way to finish it".

The Buccaneers marched down the field on the final drive of the game, but Matt Gay missed the game-winning field goal as time expired. "That's what's most exciting".

The Giants selected Jones out of Duke with the No. 6 pick in the 2019 draft. "That's football", Jones said. A comeback of this nature is just a very rare achievement, and a big deal for Jones.

The Giants improved to 1-2 and will face the Redskins in Week 4.
