The young Broadway actress Laurel Griggs who featured in many films and television shows died after suffering an asthma attack at the age of 13.
Griggs, who was best known for her role as Ivanka in the Tony Award-winning musical Once, died on November 5 in New York City due to a "massive asthma attack" after she was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, her grandfather, David B. Rivlin, confirmed.
The New York City teen boasted an impressive early career resumé before her life was cut short far too soon.
Later, actress Laurel Griggs also essayed a character named Polly in the play by Tennesee Williams called "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" on Broadway in the year 2013. She also notably appeared in Cafe Society, a Woody Allen movie also starring Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Sheryl Lee, Corey Stoll and Sari Lennick, who played Evelyn (she was Evelyn's daughter in the film). The late teen performed the role for 17 months between 2013 and 2015 and it became the gig she was best known for.
