Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
The weekend looks generally pleasant as we'll enjoy sunshine and high temperatures will warm from the upper 30s Saturday to the lower 40s on Sunday.
Patchy freezing drizzle will also be possible tonight with temperatures dropping to just below the freezing mark. A few snowflakes may mix in with the light rain in the midday hours before things dry out, but no accumulation is expected. Those traveling through mid-morning Wednesday should allow extra time to reach their destination, increase the following distance behind vehicles, and use only low beam headlights. The system should be a quick mover.
Today's Forecast: Light snow is possible for parts of the region for the morning with patchy fog likely. The average high as of Monday is now 51-degrees, and we will surpass that starting as early as Wednesday.
There is a trade off, however, as with the warm-up comes rain, and it is likely to be falling here again Thursday. Temperatures will be mild through Thursday but will turn cooler for the end of the week.
