Pittsburgh was wise to make the move because watching Rudolph play with so little confidence last week was a warning of just how bad things could be for him if he faced the Browns again in just three weeks.

After benching quarterback for Devlin Hodges in the Pittsburgh Steelers' win on Sunday over the Cincinnati Bengals, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said he's now undecided on who will start at QB next Sunday for the team.

Mason Rudolph's day didn't start the greatest for the Pittsburgh Steelers with just 85 passing yards and an interception in the red zone during the first half against the winless Cincinnati Bengals.

He has 102 carries for 390 rushing yards and four touchdowns in eight games this season, chipping in 30 receptions for 242 receiving yards and two touchdowns in the air, too.

That's Hodges to James Washington for 79 yards and the score.

Rudolph was not suspended for his role in the fight, but he was slapped with a $50,000 fine.

"I saw enough of what I need to see", Steelers coach Mike Tomlin told reporters after the game when asked about the decision to bench Rudolph.

That's the second career touchdown pass for the rookie out of Samford.

Tomlin declined to disclose the quarterback plan going forward. "He made the plays that he needed to make".
