When collapsed the phone folds onto itself to configure the device into a book-like shape with one, slimmer, outward facing display. It is the clamshell folding phone akin to Motorola Razr that has been rumoured to be in the making. The former lets users enhance their videos with fun, augmented-reality drawings and messages, while the latter lets them apply bokeh effects (including blur, big circle, colour point and glitch) to videos recorded with the front or rear camera.
The external shot shows a small notification display on the exterior alongside a dual camera. While there's only one of the leaked images that shows the phone fully extended, it's hard to see where the crease is on the bright display wallpaper. An example of how that would look like is on the Motorola Razr 2019, which does have an obvious three-part hinge.
Samsung Galaxy A21, one of the smartphone models that are rumoured to be a part of the company's Galaxy A 2020 series, has been leaked through a few case renders. The punch hole camera is great for avoiding a notch, but those thick bezels around the display make it look a little dated from these images. The power button being flat suggests that it might house a fingerprint scanner within, as we've seen on the Samsung Galaxy S10e.
Samsung may be ahead of the foldable phone race, but another competitor appears to be entering the game shortly. There also seems to be a mono speaker grille and a USB-C charging port at the bottom, which are not surprising. The Galaxy A51 includes a 48MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro lens and 5MP portrait sensor on the rear while on the front the phone includes a 32MP selfie camera.
