A Lorette, Man., family lost their chance at a second $10,000 prize after a wrong answer on Canada's version of "Family Feud" on Thursday - and the clip quickly went viral.

'This happened in Canada, where we still don't have our new chicken sandwich but a good and growing presence, ' he said.

The host immediately put his head on the podium. Dee turned to the board to see if, by some chance, "Chicken" was the top answer.

After the hilarious game-show fail went viral, Popeye's issued a tweet, telling the family to send a DM to claim $10,000 worth of Popeye's food. Her Popeye's/Popeyes confusion cost Dubois' team $10,000, CNN reports.

When Dubois realized her answer was wrong, she had the ideal excuse: "I thought you meant Popeyes chicken!".

"Our survey says you got that right".

Dubois, meanwhile, has been taking her now-viral moment in stride, retweeting numerous memes created following her episode aired.

The contestant also thanked the company on Twitter for its offer.
