Ian Rapoport said on NFL Network Sunday morning that the Patriots are willing to give Brady $30 million or more to return in 2020.

Derek Carr was coming off his second season under head coach Jon Gruden, which many were calling a "make or break" year.

Rumors of Tom Brady possibly being headed to the Las Vegas Raiders just picked up steam and it seems the team's interest in the 42-year-old old quarterback appears to be legitimate. The New England Patriots QB had to respond to tweets about his weight, his butthole chin, and even his dog!

All of which is to say that I have no idea what I or the country did to deserve this, but this year's Super Bowl is nearly certainly going to be not just better but possibly an all-time classic.

After finishing the regular season at 12-4, New England was bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Titans at home.

"I think that Derek is an unbelievable quarterback", rookie Josh Jacobs said on Friday.

Tom Brady's latest Instagram post may be a message no one in Patriots Nation wants to hear.

But Brady's teammates Devin and Jason McCourty told Barstool Radio that they confronted Brady about the speculation behind the photo, and the quarterback told them "everybody's overreacting". With tight end Rob Gronkowski retiring and wide receivers Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon being released, Brady was left with an aging and banged-up Julian Edelman as his only truly reliable target.

The Patriots are the clear favorite to land Brady this off-season, according to odds released by DraftKings SportsBook on Wednesday.

This week his former Pats team-mate Rob Gronkowski suggested Brady test the waters in free agency to see what he could command on the open market.
