Vaughan's Andrew Wiggins on move to Golden State Warriors

Warriors trade Russell to Wolves for Wiggins

Former Ohio State basketball player D’Angelo Russell traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves: Report

With both Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry expected to continue their roles with this team for years to come, it simply didn't make sense to keep Russell and his large price tag around. The Warriors seemingly acquired Russell with the intent of trading him, salvaging value from Durant's exit.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr told reporters on Friday that there was a chance that Wiggins is in uniform for tonight's game against LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Timberwolves also unload the four years and $122 million left on Wiggins' extension.

"You obviously see my patience running low with a lot of things", Towns said. They also played back December, with Doc Rivers' team coming out victorious once again. If you were to ask most people around the National Basketball Association, they would tell you D-Lo is a much better player than Wiggins. "And in this case, I would say [it does] for both teams".

"It's a huge addition for us to add Andrew on the wing", Kerr said. "I've never played with a dynamic big just like him". And we're not asking him to be a star. "Andrew can get out with such speed that he'll be a great weapon for us going forward".

Now the attention turns to Wiggins, who has an opportunity to reestablish himself as one of the top young players in the game; and can get some confidence in this lost season with the Warriors. And he'll be playing with a group of guys who know how to win. This season, Morris is averaging 19.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

"I feel like everyone's entitled to their own opinion", Wiggins said. But you get a good enough look, a long enough look, to picture how the positional fit goes, and I think you have an idea. He wasn't a disruptive personality, just not a beneficial component to a winning defense or a correct fit positionally, considering the two soon-to-return star guards are franchise pillars.

Wiggins received a warm ovation from the sold-out Chase Center crowd during pregame introductions after being announced for the first time.

"It's something that's not going to get any easier right away". "He is excited to be here". "I'm very excited. My girlfriend is excited".

"This is insane to me to wake up and see the situation that I'm in and feel the love of somebody wanting me to be here".
